Abstract

The Pain Management and Assessment course is designed to provide dentists with a comprehensive understanding of dental pain and effective pain management techniques. This session will cover key topics such as the nature of dental pain, principles of pain assessment and documentation, non-opioid analgesics, alternative pain management techniques, and the multimodal approach to pain management. By the end of this course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to assess and manage dental pain in their practice while minimizing the need for opioid analgesics.
